Our goal as a business is to commit to reducing our negative impacts and to actively pursue and measure how we are making a positive contribution to society and the environment, whilst growing a thriving advisory business.

As a small business, the greatest impact we can have by far is in influencing the strategic and operational decisions our clients make in relation to the environment, community, workforce and corporate governance. So, our approach is to align our client work closely to best practice frameworks to ensure that, from proposal stage through to implementation and final delivery, our advisory work is squarely designed to create positive impacts for the environment, employees and client supply chains as well as wider society.
We believe in addition to the obvious obligation for any sustainability business to ‘walk the talk’ that we have an opportunity to model ‘what good looks like’ as a small but growing purposeful business. Our strategy is to set out as we mean to go on, using our underlying philosophy as a blueprint to guide how we impact on our people, wider communities and the planet.
To this end, we have set ourselves some clear impact targets which we measure ourselves against for each project we run as well as a set of targets for our own business management.
To create measurable positive impact through directly influencing our clients’ business activities
Do all we can to reduce our negative impacts and help contribute to the wider society and physical world in which we operate
We’re committed to giving a minimum of 1% of annual turnover to charities and good causes each year and giving 3% of time as pro bono consultancy support or volunteering. We partner with a range of organisations to support action for the natural world and social projects, close to our Cornwall and Oxfordshire bases and internationally.
