Our Services

We provide tailored insights and sector analysis to our clients, based on the full market context in which they operate. This work forms the basis for our strategy and operational improvement and can also support sustainability reporting due diligence.
Applying our deep understanding of the nuances of the full spectrum of environmental, social and governance impact topics, we provide concise reports summarising the intersection between specific market or industry sectors, and the most material sustainability matters.
Using a bespoke grading methodology we have developed over the last decade, we carefully map your business against your peers and competitors in the sector, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, level of overall ambition and where you all sit on the Sustainability Maturity Scale.
A materiality audit is a process to help you understand your most material social, environmental impacts - so that you can measure, manage and report on them. The ‘double’ aspect refers to the consideration of both ESG topics that have a financial impact on your business, as well as taking account of your businesses’ direct impacts on people and the environment. The Philosophy team has conducted dozens of these audits and has recently developed a refreshed approach which is fully aligned with the latest global best practice frameworks such as CSRD (ESRS), IFRS (ISSB), GRI and others.
Often completed as part of the DMA delivery but also hugely insightful in its own right, our team of experts frequently assist clients with better understanding of the needs and expectations of their key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, employees and the communities in which they operate. These listening exercises provide a rich seam of business-critical insights.
Once you’ve gathered all the insights and have a clear picture of where you sit amongst peers, as well as a deep understanding of your material impacts and stakeholder expectations we can work with you to help you create or refresh your sustainability action plan.
If you don’t know where you are heading, it’s really hard to map out an effective journey. In a workshop environment we help leadership teams to unpack a realistic but challenging level of ambition for its social and environmental impact, and work to co- envision what your North Star looks and feels like – for you and for all your stakeholders.
Based on a selection of the insight methods outlined above, and having articulated your strategic purpose, we will cocreate a Strategic Framework which encapsulates your most material impacts and create realistic set of headline targets and a series of KPIs so you can measure your success along the way.
It is critical that companies consider the risks (and opportunities) that a changing climate will have on their business alongside their carbon reduction journeys, and we can help you do that. We can then help develop your Climate Transition Plan, demonstrating how you will adapt and transform to align with those risks, opportunities and sustainability goals, giving you and your stakeholders confidence.

Delivering impactful insights to help clients build sustainability strategies aligned to a clear set of priorities.
